The subprogramme mission of the International Monetary Fund is ready to discuss with the Belarusian authorities the possibility of new loan issuance, Natalia Kolyadina, IMF representative in Belarus, said. The mission will discuss with the authorities the possible next steps in response to their request for a loan, she said.
Natalia Kolyadina didn't inform on possible terms, when the board of directors of the IMF will consider the application, the loan amount and the terms of granting it, RIA Novosti.
"The mission will discuss policy measures that will restore economic stability and provide transition to a sustainable growth of the economy," the IMF representative in Belarus said.
As Telegraf informed, Belarus wants IMF to allocate 3,5-8 billion dollars. In addition, the authorities of Belarus expect EurAsEC crisis fund to allocate within three years the credit for more than three billion dollars.
