Belarusian Model Appears Naked in Ad Video against Anorexia - Video

As for the photo-shoot in PLUS Model magazine, it deals with the problem of anorexia among female models.

The model is posing naked in all images. In addition, some of the photos show Zharkova with a skinny girl. All photos are signed. One of them reads, in particular: "Twenty years ago, the average fashion model weighed 8% less than the average woman, while today she weighs 23% less."

Katia Zharkova was born in 1981 in Minsk in the family of a professional photographer. At age of 14 she was enrolled in a modeling agency. Then she graduated from the Moscow Institute of Culture and the Arts.

Zharkova also played a few bit parts in some TV series. In 2003 she left Minsk for Moscow. She worked as a producer of various projects on Muz-TV channel, led the morning show on TNT. In 2009, Katia Zharkova won the Russian competition "Sweet Woman."
