President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said during his message to the Parliament and the people on May 8, that he did not allow sales of "tidbit" of the Belarusian land to foreign investors. "Clever Jews, willing to buy the land near Baravaya (close to Minsk Ring Road - Telegraf), have come to me. Say hi to Jews, the Head of State addressed the governor of Minsk voblast, Boris Batura. – I’ll find inarable land for them tomorrow, where costs are much higher."
"I'm actually talking about the Jews in the best sense of the word," said the Belarusian leader.
He also touched upon other proposals of Israelis who, "having already built something, still ask for the ground under some new construction." The president says that initially, when he signed the documents on the project of Israeli companies, he didn’t read himself into the details and only then realized that it would not benefit to the Belarusian State, as the new construction was planned in the tilled area.

In addition, the President drew attention to the mess, often observed in places of land reclamation near Minsk. According to him, when passing once along the Ring Road near the shopping center Expobel and Lohoisk tract, he even made his security staff remove trash near the road.
The Belarusian leader stresses that such facts are not allowed, while there should be order in the development of any area, because that is why foreigners like Belarus. "The country needs to be cleaned. This is our brand, we shouldn’t retreat from it and move away," said the president.
Alexander Lukashenko also says he will not allow distributing pieces of land not only near Minsk or near regional centers, but also in the province.
