Home page of the largest search engine of runet, Yandex, can now be seen and written in Belarusian language. To switch to Belarusian version, you have just to select the option "in Belarusian" ("pa-belarusku") on the main portal page. Search results can be configured to issue requests which are also in Belarusian, but so far all the links lead to Russian or Ukrainian pages.
There is no such innovation for Yandex e-mail and the choice consists of Russian and Ukrainian languages as it was before, Nasha Niva informs.
The popular Russian search engine also designed special themes to the Belarusian version, which can be seen on the main portal page: with storks, flying over Square of Victory in Minsk, with grazed aurochs on the skyline, as well as with a towel, decorated with national ornament on the edges.
In Yandex news and blogs, there are no ads or comments on the launch of Belarusian version yet.
