Visit of the Head of Lukashenko's Administration to the U.S. is Postponed

The visit of the head of Presidential Administration of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, to Washington has been postponed once again. According to information from American sources, the visit was planned but it has been already canceled twice. The Washington attributes the visit's canceled with the fact that the U.S. still refuse to stop economic sanctions against Belneftekhim.

«In the Department of State they assumed to listen to Makei but not «negotiate» with him. It could not satisfy the Belarusian party», a source in Washington said, Nasha Niva informs.

In his turn, as Telegraf previously reported, the leader of Za Svabodu (For Freedom) Movement, Alexander Milinkevich, on May 24 and 25 met in Washington with a number of American politicians.
