Head of Belarus' Presidential Administration, Vladimir Makei, speaking at a meeting of the Community Advisory Council under the Presidential Administration, stated that Belarusian entrepreneurs would receive maximum support from the state. According to him, it is stipulated by the draft directive № 4 on the further economy liberalization.

At the same time, Vladimir Makei noted that maximum support would be provided only to an entrepreneur, «who is engaged in concrete production, concrete business, who ensures the creation of a certain number of jobs positions», BelTA informs.

The chairman of Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and employers, Vladimir Karyagin, performing as a speaker, in his turn offered to develop an effective public-private partnership.
«We must strengthen the role of entrepreneurship in the development of Belarusian economy.

Administrative resources are largely exhausted in this regard. And promising resource base today is a private initiative of people», Vladimir Karyagin believes.

According to the entrepreneur, priority areas for public-private partnership must become projects of innovative development and management, education and training, development of logistics and logistics infrastructure, roadside service, telecommunications, housing and communal services and alternative energy.

The head of capital association of entrepreneurs and employers also called for the creation of national agency on innovations commercialization, what, in his opinion, would involve existing groundworks of Belarusian science into the process. Furthermore, special attention is supposed to be paid on anti-monopoly structures, aimed to ensure fair and balanced competition. The member of Community Advisory Council considers it necessary to engage more actively the representatives of business and civil society in drafting the legislation.

The head of Presidential Administration assured that every sounded proposal would be brought to the attention of state authorities and business climate, who are responsible for the development of economy and investment. Moreover in the future, the Council’s members will be able to attend regularly the meetings of working groups on preparing draft laws relating to economic liberalization, Vladimir Makei stressed.

The next meeting of the Council, which is expected to take place in August-September of this year, will be dedicated to improvement of education system.

It includes representatives of various public associations, political parties, other institutions and organizations of the state.
