No Explosion in "Domodedovo" could have Happened, NAC (surveillance cameras' video)

The official spokesman for the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) of Russia Nikolai Sintsov said on January 24 that the security measures at Moscow Domodedovo airport, the scene for the recent explosion, were insufficient. "Otherwise, the terrorist act could not have happened," said Nikolai Sintsov. 

According to preliminary investigations, terrorist, detonating an explosive device with metal striking elements, was in the crowd of welcoming people.

There is information that no body searches of incoming people was conducted at the main entrance to Moscow Domodedovo airport, while metal detectors simply did not work. One of the security staff, being on duty at the metal detectors at the main entrance, said that personal searches were not conducted as visitors should be further checked a few more times, according to RIA «Novosti.»

However, according to the Health Ministry of Russia, 4 victims are in critical conditions, 39 people — in heavy conditions, 56 — in a state of moderate severity and 11 injured — in satisfactory conditions out of all 25 victims, hospitalized after the explosion at 6:00 on January 4.

Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia published lists of those killed and injured in the attack at the airport «Domodedovo.» The list, compiled by the detected documents, can be found at the Office site. The lists are constantly specifying the number of the victims and severity of their injuries.

As Telegraf previously reported, a suicide bomber detonated a bomb (from five to seven kilograms of TNT) at Moscow airport «Domodedovo» at about 16:40 on January 24. In connection with the attack Interior Ministry of Belarus decided to redouble security on the rail and air transport on January 24.
