Electricity supplies to Belarus haven't been resumed by the Russian company Inter RAO, though having been scheduled for the night on June 30. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian company. "Deliveries haven't begun," he said.

In turn, Assistant Secretary of Energy Minister of Belarus Liudmila Zenkovich reported that supplies of Russian energy to Belarus were resumed at 00:00 June 30, but were interrupted at 02:00 for technical reasons, BelTA informs.

As Telegraf previously reported, Belarus paid off the March and May electricity debt to Russia’s Inter RAO. As explained by Assistant Secretary of Energy of Belarus Liudmila Zenkovich, the Belarusian Company Belenergo had to apply to BPS-Bank for a loan.
Prior to this, June 29, Inter RAO UES halted supplies over RUB1.2 billion ($42.72 million) owed for electricity supplied in March, April and May, but Minsk on Wednesday paid RUB600 million of the debt. Minsk must pay the rest by the end of July 5.
