$1.5 Thousand Stolen from Accounts of Ex-Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus

Former Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Ivan Bambiza was the victim of carders. An unknown offender stole Br4.6 million (more than $1.5 thousand) from his accounts on February 25, using the bank cards at Belvnesheconombank and Belarusbank ATMs. 

Minsk law enforcement authorities have already instituted criminal proceeding against an unknown under Part 2 Art. 212 of the Belarusian Criminal Code (theft by use of computer technology, combined with the unauthorized access to computer data), reports «Ejednevnik

For this crime Belarusian law stipulates imprisonment of up to five years, with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
