President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has said in an address to the nation and parliament that 21-year-old student of a private university was arrested in the terrorist attack. "A 21-year-old girl at a private university is an immoral drunkard. Do we educate and train such children in private schools?" outraged the head of state.
«She may have paid money and received a diploma. One should immediately deal with private universities and control schools. It is the responsibility not only of the supreme power, but the leaders of schools, vocational schools,» said the Belarusian leader.
Youth Union members were also among the detainees, said Alexander Lukashenko. «Why do we have such union members? Don’t pull anyone into either BRYU or White, or Red Russia. Let it be those who want to go there. Present Komsomol must grow out of schools. It must be the most important thing at schools. No need to have your brains composted, no way. But we need to make children proud to wear a tie. You will have the ony task — to exсlude those out of favour from the ranks. Other organizations have no peopleat all,» said President of Belarus.
Fifth Column Not Involved in Terrorist Attack, Lukashenko
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has stated that the opposition — the «fifth column» — is not involved in the terrorist attack in Minsk.
«The fifth column wave has subsided — the old guard has left. It’s money, whatever they may say, funding is superior to them… but funding cannot be done from outside the country. No one will give money for the flyers just for nothing (in Belarus). Money will be given where they urge to overthrow, smash, kill, shoot. Most of the money from abroad will be given for such actions,» he said.
«Live as calm as you used to do. This is not the result of the system errors. I have even more to say: our «fifth column» uses this fact (the attack) for their own purposes. I do not see even their involvement,» said the Belarusian leader.
Torn Bodies and Severed Heads Found in Detainees’ Computers, Lukashenko
The President has also given the details of arrest and life of the suspected of Minsk explosion. «They served in the army? What could they be taught there? They worked in the army.» According to him, the detained couldn’t have learnt making explosives in the army.
«They attended a normal school. Well, they were mediocre pupils. But unique in chemistry … They worked at the factory, did they? Yes, they did… They have these computers confiscated, and what’s been found there? Torn bodies, severed heads, some abnormal aliens,» said Alexander Lukashenko.
«Why did they call names in the media? — outraged the president. — Don’t take your lead from the media. Now we have his family to protect. According to the president, the attack has been caused by two reasons: internal, which we have created with our rogues, the fifth column, and the external ones.» «But we do not exclude the other reasons as well,» he said.
