Kremlin source has said that the head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov didn't plan the meeting with the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to Minsk. Thus, the source has denied the rumors that the Belarusian leader had refused to meet with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
«The meeting was not planned, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry had clear instructions of the Russian president in this respect,» the Kremlin source said, BelaPAN.
In addition, Alexander Lukashenko’s press officer Pavel Legki has also confirmed the information that a meeting of the head of state and Sergey Lavrov was not planned.
