90% of Belarusians to Come to Elections, Administration of the President

According to the weekly monitoring of public opinion, conducted in October 2010, almost 90% of Belarusians agreed to take part in the presidential elections in Belarus. This was reported in the Information-Analytical Center (IAC) at the Presidential Administration of Belarus.

About 5% of the respondents haven’t yet decided on their participation in the elections. Another 5% of the respondents refused to take part in the elections, BelTA informs.

In addition, IAC sociologists found that if elections were held tomorrow, 62.4% of respondents would vote for the incumbent president, Alexander Lukashenko. 37.3% of respondents were indecisive or did not want to answer this question. Approximately 0.3% of those polled said that they would vote for other contenders in the presidential candidates.
