Agreement on Oil Duties Payment Profitable for Belarus, Kobiakov

Agreement, signed on December 9, on the payment and calculation of export customs duties on crude oil and certain categories of oil products, exported from Belarus outside the Customs Union, will have no negative consequences for Belarus. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Kobiakov at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers on December 17.

«This agreement is certainly beneficial for Belarus under the existing structure of export duties on oil and oil products in Russia,» Deputy Prime Minister said.

In addition, according to him, Belarus and Kazakhstan are preparing a draft agreement on the conditions of Kazakh oil supply to Belarus, BelTA informs.

According to Andrei Kobiakov, the agreement will be signed adjusted for the agreement between Belarus and Russia.
