Aliyev Issued a Loan to Pay for Gas Only for 12 Days

Azerbaijani president's spokesman, Azer Gasimov, stated that the loan for Belarus to pay for gas supplies from Russia, amounting to200 million dollars, was given by the country's president, Ilham Aliyev. The money was granted for 12 days. Moreover, Azer Gasimov stressed that there were signed all necessary documents associated to this loan.

«On June 21, Prime Minister of Belarus, Sergei Sidorsky, addressed Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, A.Rasi-zade, on the allocation of short-term credit for Belarus in connection with the current situation», Trend news agency quotes Azer Gasimov.

It was immediately reported to the president Ilham Aliyev. Taking in account, that between our two countries there established friendly relations, the head of Azerbaijan agreed to provide the loan, the spokesman of Azerbaijani president noted.
