Aliyev Keeps Warm Memories of Lukashenko's Visit to Azerbaijan

Presidents of Belarus and Azerbaijan Alexander Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed their readiness to develop partnership and friendly relations among nations at a bilateral meeting under the OSCE summit in Astana on December 1. "We are friends, partners. We keep warm memories of your recent visit to Azerbaijan," the head of Azerbaijan said.

He also noted that relations between the two countries were actively developing in all spheres. «We rejoice in your successes and look forward to active cooperation,» he said, BelTA informs.

Alexander Lukashenko, in turn, thanked Ilham Aliyev for Azerbaijan’s support of Belarus. «And I can assure you that we’ll meet all the obligations in respect to you and your country,» the President said.

In addition, Alexander Lukashenko made a remark about Ilham Aliyev’s speech at the OSCE summit. «It was a most brief and clear presentation that we’ve heard,» he said.
