Americans named Viktor Lukashenko as Belarusian president. This curious case recently occurred in the United States. In the capital, city of Washington, there were held an annual charity auction of American and world famous cartoonists, where original cartoons with autographs are being sold. Viktor Lukashenko was unexplainably named as Belarusian president in the auction catalog.

Belarusian artist, Oleg Minich, — who exhibited his work before — also took part in this auction. These images are usually sold at 500, 800 dollars, and the gain from the auction usually goes to help journalists and cartoonists who suffered for their professional activities.

The awkward situation happened because of the fact that on page 36 of drawings catalog, under Oleg Minich’s caricature is written: «Oleg Minich and his wife were arrested by Belarusian KGB on accusation of insulting the President of Belarus, Viktor Lukashenko», informs «Belarus partisan».

«It’s difficult to say, where such a signature under the picture came from.  Maybe Americans know a little more about the future of Belarus than we do? «- assumed Belarusian artist.
