An Incident in Russian Embassy is Hooliganism, MFA

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus commented on the incident, occurred on the territory of Russian Embassy in Minsk. "It is criminal hooliganism directed against common sense and Belarusian-Russian relations", the head of Information Department, MFA Spokesman, Andrei Savinykh, said.

«We are concerned and indignant at the incident at the Embassy of the Russian Federation», Andrei Savinykh stressed. «We expect those guilty will be severely punished in accordance with the law».

As Telegraf previously reported, in the evening of August 30, unknown people threw two petrol bombs into the territory of Russian Embassy in Minsk. The incident resulted no injuries. One bottle hit a car parked on the territory of the embassy. Embassy guards extinguished the fire themselves.

Criminal case under the article «hooliganism» is initiated on the incident.

After the incident, Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation called the incident as outrageous act, and urged Belarusian authorities to prevent a recurrence of similar events in the future.
