Another Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Belarus Heads Commercial Bank

At a meeting on 27 September 2010 Special Qualification Commission of the National Bank ruled that the candidacy of Pavel Kallaur meets the qualification requirements and requirements for business reputation. In this regard, it was decided to approve his candidacy for these positions in Belvnesheconombank, 97.42% of shares of which belong to the Russian Vnesheconombank, the remaining 2.22% to the Belarusian authorities. 

This is the second senior manager of the National Bank of Belarus, who started to work in a commercial bank this year, AFN says. So, in early 2010 Vasily Matyushevsky resigned as deputy chairman of the National Bank, since he had headed BPS-Bank.
