Individuals, receiving income from housing renting in January-September 2010, paid Br10.02 billion income tax (about $332.77 thousand) to Minsk budget. This was told in Minsk Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties.
In the result of advocacy, carried out by the Tax Services employees to the renters, the amount of voluntary income increased to Br891.4 million (or 9.8%) for nine months in comparison with same period last year, BelTA .
The total amount of individuals, registered in the capital on October 1, 2010 reached 32.356, all of them pay a fixed amount of the renting housing income tax. This indicator is 10.6% bigger than the reporting data on October 1, 2009.
«In order to comply with this category of taxpayers’ legislation, Minsk inspectors checked 639 tax payers in January-September. The inspection resulted in additional Br164.5 million, Br154.3 million were recovered,» Minsk inspection of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties.
