Armenia Relies on Support of Belarus, Ambassador

According to the ambassador, it is very important for Armenia and Belarus to support each other in international organizations. «There can be double standards and different approaches, but we just have to mutually support each other,» Armen Khachatryan said.

The head of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament said that the country’s leadership considers Armenia a «very friendly country», in its relation there never was «any shadow of misunderstandings.» According to Anatoly Rubinov, interaction between the two countries is developed enough, which is proved by numerous high-level visits, IA «REGNUM-Belarus» reports.

In turn, Armen Khachatryan noted that he believes Belarus «a country of good deeds, which shows how to live, create and work.» In addition, the ambassador said he admired neatness, organization and responsibility of the Belarusians. Apart from this, according to Armen Khachatryan, Belarusian authorities managed to maintain the country’s spiritual and educational values.

As reported by the Council of the Republic, a wide range of bilateral issues was discussed during the meeting, including the question of political dialogue and parliamentary exchanges development, trade and economic ties increase and cooperation in science and culture.

Belarus and Armenia Has Significant Potential, Rubinov

Anatoly Rubinov noted the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation between the two states, supported by the work of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Armenian commission on trade and economic cooperation. However, the speaker of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament noted that there’s a considerable potential in this sphere.

In turn, the Ambassador of Armenia expressed readiness to actively promote the development of mutually beneficial projects in all areas.
