Attorney General's Office Second Time Prolongs Investigation into Bombing on April 11

Criminal investigation of the explosion in Minsk subway on April 11 was prolonged until the end of July. This was reported by Attorney General of Belarus Hrigori Vasilevich on June 29. "After the investigation is completed, criminally responsible persons have a month to consider the materials. The case will be submitted to the court," said Attorney General.

According to the Criminal Procedure Code, the term of the preliminary investigation is two months, but it may be extended in some cases. Two men — born in Vitsebsk, are accused of committing a terrorist act in Minsk subway, BelTA informs.

As Telegraf previously reported, 15 people were killed and more than 200 injured in the terror act at «Kastrychnitskaya» subway station in Minsk.

June 10, Prosecutor’s Office prolonged the investigation of the subway explosion for the first time.
