The leader of the movement "For Fair Elections" Sergei Kalyakin is convinced that fraud can't be avoided at the current presidential elections in Belarus. According to the politician, despite the efforts of civil activists, the authorities will make attempts of stuffing fake ballots, and military intervention is also possible.

«There will be still some attempts of our ballots removal by the fake ones; seizures by the police are also not an exception. They will be arrested for their killers-like or criminals-like looks or the fact that the car has allegedly been stolen, etc. We’ve all been there. But we will do everything possible to ensure the proper observation,» Sergei Kalyakin said.

According to the leader of the civil movement, fraud will be possible due to early voting, began on Tuesday, December 14, which will last five days. Members of the movement «For Fair Elections» are going to observe the voting. According to Sergei Kalyakin, about a quarter of all voters participate in early elections in the whole country (99.5% of early voters have been once registered in the same region), NTV.

«The whole district is out somewhere, I do not know, it maybe in the sea or leaves for the Canary Islands, I do not know. This is, of course, not that surprising, but it clearly proves that someone needs all this,» the leader of the public movement «For Fair Elections» said.

Breaches in the voting process also mentioned by the leader of the civil campaign «European Belarus,» the presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov. Andrei Sannikov, a presidential candidate in Belarus: «This is an uncontrolled process, and they (authorities) have always using this period to attract as many voters as possible. And we’ll see if they reach up to 40%, the things will go worse,» the candidate said.
