A diplomatic source of Interfax in Moscow reported on May 24 that Kyrgyzstan's president left Belarus for Turkey. "Recently, Kyrgyzstan's president flew from Belarus to Belek, where he intends to have a rest", the unnamed diplomat said.

In their turn, in Turkish Embassy in Kyrgyzstan they have not confirmed information about the departure of president Kurmanbek Bakiyev to Belek on vacation.

As Telegraf previously reported, the president of Kyrgyzstan stated that he had no plans to return home. According to Kyrgyzstan’s leader, now «there are no conditions, no possibility» for his return to Kyrgyzstan. Kurmanbek Bakiyev reminded once again that, in his opinion, in Kyrgyzstan there was «an armed coup which claimed the lives of innocent people».

At the same time, as the Kyrgyz leader stressed  in an interview to RIA Novosti, published on May 24, that while being in Minsk, he «can not just sit doing nothing». «What will I do and in which manner in the future? Now it’s hard to say. I’m a very active … The time will tell what I am to do», Kurmanbek Bakiyev said.

«I think that I would not have got this knowledge, experience in any academy. No academy, no advanced training courses would not have given as much as I have received for my five-year presidency. I think I can be helpful here (in Belarus — Telegraf) «, the president of Kyrgyzstan stated.
