Ex-prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, Felix Kulov, on April 23 stated that "there is no country to give a refuge" for the president Kurmanbek Bakiyev, except Belarus. According to the former prime minister, Kurmanbek Bakiyev has nowhere to go from Minsk, where he is now. "As of where Bakiyev could go, I think that he's hardly going away from Belarus", Felix Kulov said.

According to the former Kyrgyz prime minister, «there is no other country to shelter» the president of Kyrgyzstan, RIA Novosti informs.

Felix Kulov also stressed that the current political crisis has also affected the economy of Kyrgyzstan. «Foreign investors have actually suspended their activities in the country», the former prime minister said, adding that this will affect Kyrgyzstan’s economy in general.

«Certainly, now, at some point, the investors will look closely until there is the legitimately elected government — before this time, the investment activity will be suspended,» the former Kyrgyz prime minister said.
