Leader of For Freedom ("Za Svabodu") movement commented on stay of the president of Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, in Belarus. According to the opposition politician, there should be a "fair trial" in Kyrgyzstan against Kurmanbek Bakiyev. "If he's a criminal, then we have no right to conceal such people in our country, it blows upon its prestige", Alexander Milinkevich said.

«Firstly, I think that there should take place examination of the case on the dead and injured during the Kyrgyz events. Bakiyev, if he’s guilty and the trial proves it, should be in Kyrgyzstan, not hiding in Belarus», the leader of For Freedom («Za Svabodu») movement stated, Belarusian service of Radio Liberty reports.

Opposition politician believes that the president of Kyrgyzstan is implicated in these events. However, Milinkevich expressed his confidence that if the provisional government of Kyrgyzstan holds free and fair elections in the country, it will be recognized by the world community.
