Belarusian ruble against a basket of currencies has decreased by 7.01% since the beginning of the year despite +/-8% corridor in 2011. This is evidenced by data from the National Bank of the Republic Belarus. Thus, for about four months of 2011 the depreciation has almost reached the allowed parameters of the whole year.
According to Telegraf, the ruble against a basket of currencies has fallen by 0.36% within 24 hours. Dollar exchange rate has increased by 1.67% to Br3050 compared with December 31, 2010, the euro — by 9.77% to Br4.360.59, the Russian ruble — by 9.8% to Br108.9.
Belarusian ruble-to-euro rate has fallen by 0.73% for 24 hours; Br-to-RUB rate — by 0.33%. The ruble-to-dollar ratio has not changed.
