Adviser to the President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, Professor Roman Kuznyar does not consider Belarus a hopeless case. "Belarus — a difficult case, but, perhaps, not hopeless. Everything, that happened, seems to have got Belarus back to what we know about it during the last ten years," Roman Kuznyar said.

«But it might teach the Belarusian opposition, which might be more united, might help someone,» the Polish President’s adviser stressed on air of the radio station TOK FM.

«Belarus is a difficult case, but we are neighbors and we have no
choice. We may succeed or fail in something, but certainly we should not remain idle,» the professor said.

According to Telegraf, Poland abolished the national visa fee for Belarusian citizens since January 1, 2011. «We want to help our neighbors to strengthen the European identity through contact with the Poles and other EU citizens,» a spokesman of the Polish Foreign Ministry Martin Bosatski said.
