Belarus and China's Guangdong province plan to create a joint high-tech park. The questions, regarding this project, will be considered during the Week of science and technology of Guangdong province, held in Minsk from July 23 to 27, the chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology, Igor Voitov, reported.
According to the head of the state committee, potential partners are to define the course and development vector of the park. «Some areas of interaction in the field of scientific and technical cooperation may be determined at scheduled exhibition. There will be presented as Chinese innovative technologies so and Belarusian innovations. In particular, Belarusian scientists will present products, they are interested to promote in Chinese market», Igor Voitov said.
Furthermore, early next week there will be held a series of meetings in ministries and departments of Belarus, interested in cooperation with the province of Guangdong, BelTA informs. According to the chairman of the state committee, exactly at these meetings they will discuss a draft of a joint high-tech park, as well as other areas of cooperation with Chinese partners.
