Belarus and Russia created common database of cars stolen, Jury Litvin, the head of the Department of the State traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus informed on June, 15th in Homel. "Traffic policemen of two countries will get access to the database in autumn this year", the head of the department said.

«Now experts of the departments have already fulfilled all technical moments connected with compatibility of the databases of stolen cars in Belarus and Russia. They have developed system of remote access and have created special communication channels», BelTA quotes the words of Jury Litvin.

According to the representative of the traffic police, there is unresolved problem of rigging patrol cars with the special phones so that they could receive data on the concrete car.

In Homel Jury Litvin took part in opening ceremony of republican competition of professional skill of the traffic policemen. 12 commands from every Belarusian Voblast and Minsk, and also the representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Moldova participate in the competition.

Traffic policemen will compete in manual regulation of traffic, high-speed maneuvering by car and motorcycle, in knowledge of the rules of the road. The competitions for the best fighting, for special, medical and physical training, for ability to shoot from the car on the move will also be held.
