June 27 is a deadline for Belarus to repay the electricity debt to the Russian company Inter RAO. The Russian company intends to haunt electricity supplies to Belarus if the country does not repay the debt until the evening on June 27.

As Telegraf previously reported, Inter RAO limited electricity supplies to Belarus on June 9 due to debts of RUB1.5 billion. The parties then signed a payment schedule according to which the Belarusian government should pay the debt until July 5. Thus, June 13, the company restored the volume of electricity supply to Belarus and the Belarusian side remitted the first installment for debt repayment to Inter RAO.

In turn, Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Miasnikovich promised on June 23 that the authorities would have fully paid for the Russian electricity by June 28.
