Belarus Approves an Agreement On Transfer of State Secrets With Russia

Belarusian government has approved an intergovernmental agreement with Russia on cooperation in transfer of state secrets, which was signed on December 10 of the last year in Moscow. This decision is made by the Council of Ministers on April 15 of this year, № 555.

According to the approved document, the organs and organizations of Belarus and Russia «will cooperate in deployment of secret orders, as well as the in transfer (receive) or use of state secrets of Belarus and Russia’s state secrets», AFN informs.

In addition, the Council of Ministers ordered Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus to send a notice «on the implementation of national internal procedures necessary for entry into force of approved intergovernmental agreement between the two countries».
