Belarus Begins Russian Gas Intake

The Republic of Belarus started an intake of Russian gas, supplied through its territory to the European Union countries. It was announced on Wednesday, April 23, by a source close to the government of the Russian Federation. According to him, "the intake has already begun". "It happened in the afternoon", the source said.

At the same time, he stated that «there is hope that the crisis could be solved in near future». According to him, at present, the government of Belarus with the participation of heads of relevant ministries and agencies are carrying out a meeting to draw up draft «resulting document», PRIME-TASS informs.
