Belarus Declared Mourning for Victims of Explosion in Minsk Subway

Wednesday, April 13, mourning for those, dead in Minsk subway explosion on April 11, has been declared in Belarus. So, most buildings in Minsk carry national flags at half-mast with mourning ribbons. All entertainment events in the city have been canceled until the end of this week.

All ceremonies, including funerals, will be held under intensified police supervision. Police plans to take all public places under the protection, the City Committee reported.

As Telegraf previously reported, Wednesday, April 13, the dead in an explosion in Minsk subway will be buried in Kalodishchy and Honor Walk of the Northern cemetery, as well as in Slutsk and Baranavichy. The city authorities will be responsible for all the funeral arrangements.

The explosion at «Kastrychnitskaya» station in Minsk subway claimed lives of 12 people and injured about 200 people.
