Belarus wants to hold on additional negotiations on the issue of accession to the documents of the Customs union which were signed by prime ministers of Russia and Kazakhstan on May, 28th in Petersburg, Andrey Kobyakov, vice-premier of Belarus, declared on June, 8th.

Speaking about Belarusian plans to accede to the documents of the Customs Union, vice-premier said that the country prepared all the documents for ratification, but would continue to hold on the negotiations, RIA Novosti informs.

Speaking about the tougher stance of Belarus in the Customs union, Andrey Kobyakov declared that «the stances of all the parties should be weighed».

Earlier, as Telegraf informed, Alexander Timoshenko, spokesman of Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorski informed, non-participation of Belarusian Prime Minister, Sergei Sidorsky, in the planned on May 28 Summit of the government heads of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan in St. Petersburg is related to a number of unresolved issues existing within the Customs Union.

«The refusal of Belarusian Prime Minister, Sergei Sidorski, to take part in planned on May 28 in St. Petersburg’s «group of three» meeting is connected with the preservation of some outstanding issues within the Customs Union, which are essential for the Belarusian party», Alexander Timoshenko said.
