Decision № 35 of the Ministry of Economy of March 15, 2011 came into force in Belarus on March 26, according to which entrepreneurs have the right to determine tariffs for regular intercity transportation of passengers, baggage and luggage.
As noted in the Ministry, earlier, according to the Presidential Decree of May 19, 1999, the tariffs for long distance road transport of passengers, baggage and luggage in regular communication were regulated by the Ministry of Economy, which adopted marginal maximum tariffs for these services on July 12, 2010.
Presidential Decree №72 of February 25, 2011 did not include regular intercity transportation of passengers, baggage and luggage in the list of goods, works or services, regulated by the power.
