Belarus' GDP Grows by 6.1%

The gross domestic product of Belarus for the four months of this year has increased in comparable prices by 6.1% over the same period of last year. In current prices, GDP amounted to 43.5 trillion rubles.

According to the forecast of socio-economic development of Belarus, in 2010 the GDP is stipulated to grow by 11-13%, BelTA informs.

According to the National Statistical Committee data, the industry’s value added volume in GDP  is 30.7%, agriculture — 2.5%, construction — 10.1%, transport and communications — 8.7%, trade and public catering — 12%.
