Belarus Intends to Resume Milk Powder Supplies to Russia

As Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuffs of Belarus, Mikhail Rusy, informed, in July Belarus plans to resume milk powder supplies to Russia. "At the time, there signing contracts for the supply of milk powder to Russia", the minister said and added that the volume of supply "will correspond to approved balance sheets".

Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs is ready to offer more favorable pricing terms to the Russian side to that purchases of milk to be carried out  in bulk (more than 500 tons), BelTA informs.

Earlier, Belarus’ Ministry of Agriculture agreed with the Russian side to suspend milk powder supplies to Russia from May in order not to undercut prices for raw milk on Russian market.
