Belarus' Interior Minister, Anatoly Kuleshov, reported on June 24 that his ministry had already created a sample of new driver's license, planned to be introduced at the end of this year. New sample of rights includes photo of the owner, driver's license number, issuing state body as well as existing categories.
New driver’s license will look like an ordinary plastic card, BelTA informs. «We planned to introduce new derivers’ license in June or July this year, but due to the need to harmonize it, the process is delayed», the head of Interior Ministry said.
As Telegraf previously reported, driver’s license of a new model to be introduced in Belarus in December of this year. It was reported by the chief of Traffic Control Inspection of Interior Ministry, Yuri Litvin, during the opening of Republican gathering of young traffic inspectors at the «Stalin Line» historical-cultural complex in yearly June.
According to him, the traffic control inspection still has an intention to introduce a new «AM» category for moped and scooter’s drivers. Moreover, traffic control inspection has no plans to introduce special category of license to drive vehicles with automatic transmission.
