President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with representatives of business circles of Great Britain and Ireland on March 14. "I think that the main thing for foreign investors and those, willing to start their own business, is the country's stability and predictability. We have this treasure," he said.
The President expressed his delight that businessmen would be able to see all necessary condition for human life in Belarus. «We will not hide anything, including objects targeted for privatization. And if you have the desire and aspiration to participate in this process — you are welcome. But if you want to create new enterprises in Belarus, operating under the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, you’ll have the «green light» here,» said Alexander Lukashenko.
According to him, the representatives of Great Britain and Ireland, have «no proposals, we would not be interested in.» The President asked the businessmen if they were willing to work in Belarus, to act promptly. «We will do everything possible for you to set up your business in Belarus within this year,» he said, BelTA informs.
In turn, Stemcor managing director and co-owner David Factor announced his intention to develop business in Belarus. «At the moment we could find honesty and reliability in Belarus,» he stressed.
