March 15, president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived on official visit to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Alexander Lukashenko and Hugo Chavez held negotiations at  the working residence of President of Venezuela — the Palace of Miraflores -in Caracas. According to Alexander Lukashenko, "Belarus is going through perhaps the most difficult period."

«Our visit is special this time. I want you to understand, building a relationship with us, that Belarus is very concerned in what is happening in Venezuela. We take the processes that take place in Venezuela, as as processes happening in our own country», — stressed the Belarusian leader.

«I don’t want even the opposition to think that we came here, to earn some big or small money. In Venezuela we earned the most important thing — trust of your people,» — said Alexander Lukashenko.

Belarusian leader noted that Belarusians are willing to put in a common bowl all that they have themselves. «Of course, we will ask for your support at this difficult time. I already said publicly, what is the difficult point. But that is not associated with money, there are things of greater importance. It concerns our sovereignty and independence — nothing can be more  important» — head of state underlined.

The press service of Belarusian president reported, that on March 16 President of the Republic of Belarus will address the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Also, on March 16 both presidents plan to visit residential complex, being building in the city of Maracay.
