Belarus Is Waiting for Significant Changes in Customs Regime with Russia, Kobyakov

Belarus is waiting that Russia will make significant changes in customs regime on Russian-Belarusian border. It was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Andrei Kobyakov, at a meeting with the Deputy Head of Administration of Russia's Lipetsk region, Sergei Salogubov.

Belarusian Vice-Premier said that under the documents to develop the Customs Union signed in early July 2010, in near future with regard to internal procedures in Russia there expected significant changes in control of goods from third countries, carried out by Russian side on Russian-Belarusian border, PRIME-TASS informs.

«Under signed documents there remained to be checked only a few dozen items, which will be monitored by Russian customs service. Everything else must move freely, without any customs formalities, using ordinary shipping documents the goods are moved within Russia and Belarus», Andrei Kobyakov explained.

«I think it will be considerable factor, which will influence on that our trade and economic relations to develop», Vice-Premier of Belarus stressed.
