Belarus National Debt Rose to $12.3 Billion for 10 Months

The national debt of Belarus amounted to Br37.441 trillion ($12.3 billion) on November 1, 2010, having risen up by 23% since the beginning of the year, including by 0.1% in October. This information is provided by the Ministry of Finance of Belarus. 

In this case, according to the Ministry of Finance, the external public debt in rubles increased by 28.8% for ten months of this year (including 0.6% in October) to Br29.058 trillion on 1 November 2010, AFN.

Domestic debt volume amounted to Br8.382 trillion, an increase of 6.3% since the beginning of the year (though having decreased by 1.6% in October).

Central government debt reached Br30.569 trillion in the structure of government debt, an increase of 23.7% since the beginning of the year (including 0.4% in October). Debt of economic entities, guaranteed by the government, amounted to Br6.872 trillion, an increase of 19.8% in January-October (having decreased by 1.6 in October).
