Belarus will not be able to fulfill the plan to supply four million tones of Venezuelan oil to Belarusian refineries this year. The reason is in the fact that technical capabilities of Odessa port to receive oil by sea for its transshipment to the railroad allow to take four tankers a month as maximum.

«If to do nothing (with railroad overpass), then this is close to the limit (of its technical capability). If a lot of hard work to be done, then it is possible to transship (by wheels) even four tankers a month», told in the port of Odessa, Reuters informs.

Oil supplies of Santa Barbara sort from Venezuela to Belarus continue. In July, it is expected to arrive three more tankers with Venezuelan oil for Belarus in the port of Odessa, with total volume of about 240 thousand tons (80 thousand tons per tanker).

Thus, till the end of this year, counting three tankers per month (including the three already arrived) Belarus will be able to get only 1.68 million tons of oil from the planned four million. Belarus is to get nearly two million tons of oil from Venezuela by the end of the year under the condition that the port of Odessa receives four tankers with 80 tons of oil every month.

As Telegraf already reported, today, June 29, third tanker with oil for Belarus arrived in the port of Odessa. The vessel is still in the roads, but it is planned that today it will come to the pier, where oil pumping in tanks will starts.
