Belarus Offers Russia Its Assistance in Forest Fires Control

Belarus will assist Russia in fighting against forest fires and in restoration of housing for fire victims. It was reported by the spokesman of Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Peskov. "An offer to assist was voiced by Prime Minister of Belarus, Sergei Sidorsky", Dmitry Peskov said.

«Sidorsky announced the proposal of the Belarusian side to assist in fighting against forest fires in Russia, as well as in restoration of housing lost in fire», Russian mass media quote the spokesman of Vladimir Putin.

Moreover, Peskov specified that a phone conversation between the heads of government was initiated by Belarusian Prime Minister, Sergei Sidorsky.

«Vladimir Putin appreciated the offer», Dmitry Peskov said, adding that the heads of governments agreed that details of the aid to be coordinated by competent institutions.
