Belarus has prepared about one hundred investment projects, planned to implement at the expense of Chinese loan of 15 billion dollars. It was reported at a meeting of Belarusian-Chinese commission on trade and economic cooperation by its co-chair, the head of State Control Committee of Belarus, Zenon Lomat.
According to the head of SCC, firstly, for Chinese funds it is planned to build a runway in the National airport Minsk, modernize Lukoml and Bereza power plants, production of some enterprises, to build factories for the production of bleached cellulose and caustic soda, BelTA informs.
As Zenon Lomat stated, issued China’s loan is mainly planned to be directed to provide Belarus’ energy security.
As Telegraf previously reported, Belarus is preparing to take Chinese loan of 15 billion dollars, which issuance possibility is now being considered by the Chinese side. «Under the agreement at the level of the heads of two countries, today it is being considered the realization of more than 15 billion dollars’ loan, which will be provided by China, including one billion dollars — on favorable terms», Zenon Lomat informed on June 18.
