Belarus to Buy Twice as Much Venezuelan Oil, Sidorsky

Belarusian Prime Minister, Sergei Sidorsky, stated that soon the supply of Venezuelan oil to Belarusian refineries could double. Meanwhile, according to the head of the government, Belarus planned to buy four million tons of "black gold" from Venezuela and create a joint venture to refine it.

According to Belarusian premier, Venezuelan oil has a low sulfur content, which will ensure high output of light oil product, BelTA informs. «We’ll export obtained products in conjunction with Venezuelan partners», Sergei Sidorsky added.

The prime minister also stressed that the implementation of a project of Venezuelan oil supplies to Belarus is on schedule, it’s proved by the first 117 tanks of oil arrived at Mozyr refinery from the port of Odessa on May 3.
