The leader of "For Freedom" ("Za Svabodu") Movement, Alexander Milinkevich, in his Dzen Voli appeal called for all the Belarusians "to celebrate widely, civilly and with dignity our main national holiday" on March 25. "As a result of our common efforts, Belarus will come out of the authoritarianism gray stripe and rise as embodiment of ideals of fathers-founders of the Belarusian People's Republic ", former candidate for presidency stated.
Alexander Milinkevich has called people to take part in festive march in Minsk on March 25 -which begins at 06.00 p.m. at the Academy of Sciences -, as well as in concerts, celebrations, meetings in other regions of Belarus and abroad.
«To know our glorious history, pride for ancestors’ achievements and revere those who sacrificed their lives, health and prosperity in the name of freedom and independence of the motherland is the honorable duty of every citizen. It is also a display of patriotism and civility of society and government», the leader of «For Freedom» movement noted.
