Belarus to Issue $1B Eurobonds More

In 2011, Belarus plans to issue $1 billion Eurobonds  more. Some part of borrowings will be sent to cover budget deficit, which is expected to reach $2 billion (or six trillion rubles), or 3% of GDP. It is marked in explanatory report of the Minister of Finance, Andrei Kharkovets, to the draft budget for 2011, sent to lower house of the parliament.

Financing of  the budget deficit is provided by domestic funds in the amount of 3.381 trillion rubles, as well as external funds in the amount of 2.619 trillion rubles (or $826.3 million), PRIME-TASS informs.

Domestic means of financing the deficit in coming year include the issuance and placement of state securities in internal market in the amount of 262.8 billion rubles. Repayment of the main debt on these means is expected in the amount of 162.7 billion rubles. Net balance to attract state securities in 2011 will amount to 100.1 billion rubles.

«Furthermore, in the funds of domestic financing for 2011 there reserved means to execute warranties of Belarusian government to repay and service loans, issued by Belarusian banks, in the amount of 843.5 billion rubles», reads the document.

At the same time, it drew attention to that next year, as it was in previous years, to attract loans of the National Bank is not provided to finance budget deficit.
