Telegraf reporter was explained in Belarusbank, that the problem was caused by "panic among the public," while the situation with the cards by the slow work of the ATM, which "lack time to replenish the money."
«For some reason, the card has been temporarily blocked today from the ATM use. But after a while everything worked fine again. I do not know what caused the fails,» the locals say.

Belarusbank explains the problem by the panic among the population. «We just do not have enough time to replenish the ATM with money — it’s too quickly withdrawn. That’s why, for example, when a client tries to withdraw Br100 thousand, the ATM screen displays «technical error,» because such amount is missing there. However, no restrictions have been introduced,» said the bank’s employee.
It’s advised to call the operator to the ATM in such cases, whose phone number should be indicated on the machine.
