Belarusbank Raises Interest Rates on Deposits

June 27, Belarusbank raises interest rates on deposits in Belarusian rubles. Thus, rate of a fixed bank savings deposit in Belarusian rubles will be 26.5% per annum (both for the newly and previously adopted maturity deposits), reported in the bank.

«Fixed-term bank deposit «New 2010″ provides for the fixed total revenue, amounting to 26% per annum (on the newly adopted deposits) over the first 3 months,» noted in Belarusbank.

Fixed-term bank deposit «Guaranteed income» — 22 % per annum (on the newly and previously adopted deposits — from the date of renewal, beginning with 06/27/2011) for 15 days.

In addition, June 27, the bank suspends receiving funds for the new fixed-term bank deposit «Prestige.» June 27, the revenue at a rate of 23% per annum is set on the deposit «Prestige,» adopted prior to the specified date without lower income being charged.

Also, June 27, Belarusbank puts into circulation savings certificates with 2 months’ maturity and sets the interest rate of 22 % per annum with maturity of 15 days and 23% per annum with maturity of 2 months from 27/06/2011.
